What Callie is

Callie: AI Calorie Tracker is a calorie and macro tracking app for iPhone and Android. You log a meal by taking a photo, saying what you ate, or typing it. Callie estimates the calories and macros, shows you what it found, and logs the meal only after you confirm or edit it.

The app was built for people who have tried calorie tracking before and quit because searching a food database for every ingredient took too long.

What it does

• Photo, voice and text logging. Use whichever is fastest at the moment.
• Review before confirm. Photo scans are never logged automatically. Callie shows the foods, portions, calories and macros it found, and you can edit any of them first.
• Depth-aware portion estimates. Callie reads the depth and camera metadata your phone saves in the photo to judge real-world size. Screenshots and forwarded images lose this data.
• Barcode and menu scanner. Scan packaged food, or point the camera at a restaurant menu before you order.
• Adaptive calorie target. Your target re-tunes every two weeks from your actual weight trend.
• Apple Health and Health Connect sync.
• Daily diet plans. Pick keto, intermittent fasting, a calorie cut, balanced or custom, and Callie suggests meals and exercises for the day based on your BMI, weight, fitness level and allergies.
• Streak dashboard. A GitHub-style grid of the days you logged, with your longest streak.
• Scheduled cheat days. Mark a planned cheat day in advance and your streak stays intact.
• AI coach. Ask questions about your goals and meals, in any language.

What Callie is not

• It is not a medical device and does not give medical advice.
• It does not track GLP-1 injections, doses or side effects. Pair it with a dedicated app such as Shotsy or Pep if you need that.
• It is not free beyond the 3 trial logs. If you need a free tracker, Cronometer and FatSecret have usable free tiers.
